And a lot of the time there were adult plays that were being put on, like as in
not adult plays like adult movies but like plays for adults and anytime they needed a kid they would take me or one of my brothers and put us into it and then bring us around on tour and so on yeah
And there was a radio station that started off as a pirate radio station.
And then later on, my dad started Scanna and Aislingair, Aislingair Productions, which was like a documentary making kind of company.
And there was a restaurant that I started working in when I was 14.
So all of these things are what we grew up around.
It's where we did our music lessons and we had to do Irish dancing for a while as well, which I wasn't like a big fan of.
But it all happened in this cultural centre.
Yeah.
And that's just how we grew up.
That's how it was for us.
And I suppose as a kid, maybe at times, I kind of resented it sometimes because... Of course, because you're a kid.
Yeah.
But looking back now, it did plant the seeds for a lot of the stuff that me and my brothers ended up doing.
And very grateful for everything that actually we were a part of because what they were doing then was...
building the foundation for the generation to come and providing opportunities for the next generation that they didn't have.
And I were talking like my generation have got kids and some of their kids now even have kids.
And every generation has built something that the next generation has been able to avail of and add their little bit to it also.
And it's really coming from that background that kind of ended up how I ended up in Palestine and how I ended up doing the gym in Palestine.
And I just see it as a continuation of what was started back then by the generation that came before us and even the generation that came before them as well as they passed on the mantle.
