Apparently it came from Queen Marie of somewhere, or Mary, no, Queen Mary of probably England, I probably should have researched this at some point, was sick, and vitamin C is obviously in oranges, and her chef, who was French, was basically like, Marie, my lad, Mary is sick, and he made her like an orange concoction, and that was where marmalade came from.
