Yeah, last time you're going to meet Colorado in the regular season in the wild, make the most of it.
No, actually, they're going back there.
Do they go back there?
I thought I looked ahead in that.
Next week.
Oh, they do, Sunday.
Okay, then totally regard that statement.
So, I mean, I thought I had this whole thing planned out about, well, you did your part for the remaining games in hand to try to offset that point difference.
Well, they got one more to go.
They got one more head-to-head matchup where the Wild can make it a two-point swing clean.
But I think last night, the setup and the narrative, at least in my mind, was the Wild should win this game.
I was nervous because despite having my TV tuned into the season 50 premiere of Survivor on Wednesday, I also had a second screen that was kind of roaming around the league looking into other games, and for the most part, teams were turning to action.
I noticed a sluggish entry back into play, and I was worried that we might see that for a while.
But on the other side of things, I know they're at home, but Colorado had played the night before.
Obviously, they beat a Utah team, and...
I expected it to be a team that probably, one, wanted some revenge for the sake of the Makar, for Taves, for McKinnon.
But also, they already shook off that rust.
So I expected them to look like the better team from the get-go, and then it would be the Wild trying to play catch-up.
But because of the rest, should have two points at the end of the night.
they just kind of looked like the better team.
