But it's just one of the things.
It's like muscle memory where, like, I know, I don't know, maybe dry firing practice for a rifle for a comp.
I don't find that as important as dry firing for...
defending yourself i agree situation yeah because when you draw from a holster like getting your grip right from at least inside waistband it's it's weird when you draw from outside waistband it's easy because you can grip the whole gun right away where when it's in front of you against your body you really have to like reach in grab it properly and come out and present the
And I even try to do it to where I'm not necessarily like staging my hands below my shirt where you can just grab your shirt, rip up and go.
I do this like you hold your hands out in front of you because in reality they say the thing.
Oh, it's all happens within seven yards.
Well, that person's probably right in front of you.
So you might be pushing them away.
You push away and then you go and draw.
So I try to get those reps in.
I do it probably 10 to 20 times because I'll literally just sit there while she's getting ready and just sit there and I'll just focus on different things.
Like just little things on the wall.
If there's like a photo or it's like something's up on the TV or โ
Like again, light switches.
If there's some kind of pattern on our curtain, I'll focus on one thing and I'll draw on it and make sure that I can get to myself like repeatedly where I can draw and I'm like, oh, cool.
I can just make sure I'm right on that.
And it's like it kind of like gets me in that mode where I can retain that at least for our trip outside of the house.
Well, and that's the other thing, too, because with iron sights, at least when you come up, you at least have a reference of like, oh, I can just โ
I just shift it down a little bit.
