Well, Donald Trump put on Truth Social at 12.10am our time.

You know, he's telling his negotiators to take their time.

There's no rush.

I reckon there's a rush, but anyway, he's pretty relaxed.

I mean, I think the problem...

Yeah, and everyone's saying that they're close to a deal of some sort that'll open the Strait of Hormuz.

I mean, obviously, from our point of view in Australia and everywhere else around the world, the whole thing depends on opening the Strait of Hormuz.

So that's really the core issue.

And the problem, it seems to me, Dan, is that Trump is really putting it out there that it's going to have to be not a deal like the one made by Obama.

I mean, he put another post on Truth Social saying, if I make a deal with Iran, it'll be a good and proper one, not like the one made by Obama, which gave Iran massive amounts of cash and a clear and open path to a nuclear weapon.

So that really kind of limits the US to where this deal is going to go because Iran really wants to have its foreign assets unlocked.

So it wants cash and the ability to continue to enrich uranium.

That's what they've been saying.

I mean, they seem to be talking about there was a call between Trump and the leaders of the UAE and the other Gulf countries had a big meeting over the weekend where it seems like the Gulf country leaders were all pressing Trump to make sure you get a deal done.
