Well, we're about to go into some of the companies here and that's not surprising.
We've had this conversation every year for 20 years.
Yeah, it's amazing.
You mentioned Alphabet.
So let's kick off with Alphabet because when we woke up and saw the numbers that they produced, we almost fell off our chairs.
So revenue, as you said, up 22% to $110 billion, beating estimates.
It was their fastest growth in over two years.
Not only that though, their profit was up 81%.
81% to $62.6 billion in profit for the quarter.
An incredible result.
Their earnings per share was $5.11 versus market expectation of $2.62.
So they absolutely smashed Wall Street expectations.
The big surprise and the biggest growth driver has come out of their cloud business.
So cloud business revenue was $20 billion, up 63%.
Now, you think about some of the big players in cloud, AWS.
Well, Google Cloud was growing faster than AWS and Microsoft's Azure, and they have an incredible backlog now of demand worth over $460 billion.
Wow.
I saw a chart on Twitter that just showed the profit of the business over the last sort of four or five years that has just had that beautiful sort of change from quarter on quarter becoming less and less and less cashflow negative to now just profitable, profitable.
And it's just shooting the lights out.
It's incredible.
