When were you diagnosed?
How old are you?
Today's your birthday?
And you had me on your podcast for your birthday.
Amazing.
Well, happy birthday.
Okay, so we're talking two years ago.
Yep.
So you were 31.
Okay, so I would imagine since you were a teenager, you had antibodies on your blood work that no one checked.
Right.
So you're walking around with silent autoimmunity.
And then stage two is reactivity, which is antibodies are still elevated and you have symptoms.
And that's where some people start knowing like, all right, something's off.
And then they start going to a general practitioner.
Then they go to a specialist and they kind of get thrown into that rabbit hole.
Then you have stage three, which is the diagnosis of disease, which is tissue destruction.
And so that's when most people are like, I have an issue right now and I really need to get checked out.
And that's full-blown autoimmune.
And I used to not wanna call it a disease because I really think it's just a response.
