And that was our goal.

And then shortly after that, in that summer, I decided actually...

wait, no, I'm not ready.

I'm not ready at all.

And so we made the mutual decision to pause on starting a family in the summer of 2024 because I really wanted to prioritize our relationship.

I wanted to prioritize work and I wanted, honestly, most importantly, to prioritize myself.

And

Overall, I just felt like I needed a little bit more time and I was not ready to take on motherhood just yet.

And so now, almost two years later, I lived.

I did...

kind of what feels like everything I wanted to do.

And now I am pregnant and I couldn't be happier.

I couldn't be happier that I waited and I couldn't be happier for this next chapter of my life.

And so I want to do a little story time of how this all came to be.

I do, before I get into it, I want to acknowledge coming in here today, I was like,

I'm so aware that the topic of pregnancy and the process of getting pregnant and everything that surrounds it can be very understandably sensitive and difficult for a lot of women.

And so I just want to be really mindful today that as much as this is a very exciting time and a celebration, I also want to hold space for the women who

may be on a different part of their own journey right now.

And I'm thinking about you and I'm sending you so much love and I love you, Daddy Gang, and I support you.
