Never what you want, really.

Another thing that's not going to be a pleasant experience is going back through the time capsule that we buried before the season.

We have done this every year.

Should have kept it buried, Alex.

Honestly.

We do this every year now where we get together after everyone's sort of done their season previews in August and

And we just make predictions about how we think the season's going to go, conference by conference, playoff, championship, national awards, the whole works.

And last year, I think several of us got at least half or more of the playoff teams right.

That was a much harder slog this year.

And really, I just think it was a lot of blood in trying to pick things this year.

And I think this is an interesting exercise that we like to do because you get to go back and

Talk about what surprised you, what you learned, how your priors were challenged over the course of this college football season, and really do a detailed process review on how we think about these things.

We're going to go league by league.

We're going to start with the Mid-American Conference.

We used to just have one person pick each league, so there'd be three or four picks each.

This year, we all just picked every league.
