It feels weird saying no the first time, but then you can almost get addicted to it.

You can be like, it actually starts to feel good of like, oh God, I don't have to go for that dog walk that I promised my neighbor I'd do for no reason.
It's a really nice feeling.
Exactly.
And if you say yes once and you do take the neighbor's dog out when you don't want to in the rain, they're going to ask you again and again and again.
And eventually you'll have to say no and then it's way worse because that would come out of nowhere in their mind.
