Cameras in a national park in China, located near the border with Russia, have spotted something remarkable, a Siberian tiger family that includes five cubs.

It's China's first documented case of a tiger having quintuplets in the wild and comes after careful conservation work to protect these endangered animals.

For a female Amur tiger or Siberian tiger to give birth to five cubs and have them survive as long as these five seem to have survived is pretty remarkable.

Usually a litter is two to three, sometimes four cubs.

And, you know, in order to, first of all, give birth to any cub, even one, a tigress has to be in incredible physical condition, right?

She needs to be at the top of her game.
