But yeah, he was not shooting well, but the way he made up for in so many different ways is he's a very, he's beloved in New York, but I think that he's very underrated still given all he brings to winning.
Eric Spolstra has said, you know, there's 50, 50 balls in basketball.
Josh Hart finds a way to get 70, 30 balls or 30, 70.
he's just a very winning player.
And I think that those guys don't always get their due sometimes because of what the box score looks like.
I think it's better, you know, I honestly think that something, and we're talking about obviously how well rest of the Knicks have been, something that Tibbs gets some credit for, but I think Mike Brown gets more credit for, is the bench.
And just playing more guys and getting more out of them than Tibbs did or even, you know, bothers a try.
I mean, Tyler Kolek, you know, Deuce McBride, they've gotten a lot.
One of the reasons they're here is that they have a lot of second-round picks that
who have found a way to stick on the team and be in the rotation.
And when they come in, the moment's not too bright for them.
And I think that that's one of the bigger changes with Mike Brown that, you know, I think they were always decently good under Tibbs in late game situations, partially because they had Jalen Brunson, who's very clutch.
And that's more of a Brunson thing maybe than a coaching thing.
But I think that one of the things that Mike Brown has done that stands out to me is just that
You know, the Knicks fired kids partially because they didn't think his operation was sustainable with the way he was playing guys.
And to Mike Brown's credit, he's made the most of the end of the bench back rotation guys that not every coach bothers with.
And I think that that's, you know, you credit the front office for kind of finding the right guys with those picks that are very hit and miss.
And you also give Mike Brown credit for making the most of them and finding ways to get them real experience before the postseason.
So that's the biggest change that's been under Mike Brown versus Tibbs is that they're deeper because of Mike Brown.
