Unfortunately, the only real thunder news this week was that the injuries to their top three creators were not magically healed by the all-star break SGA and AJ Mitchell who are out with abdominal strains will be out at least another week.
And Jada who re-injured his hamstring before the break will be evaluated.
It's possible all three miss this next stretch of games, which is a bummer because it includes Cleveland, Toronto, Detroit, and Denver.
The Thunder are 42-14, first in the West, but only two and a half games up on the Spurs.
Per Cleaning the Glass, the Thunder have the fourth-ranked offense and first-ranked defense.
Andrew, if the Thunder were somehow our favorite team, who would be our guest?
There you go.
We need you to release a vlog after this about coming on Slammin' Jam for the first time.
You mentioned Isaiah Joe.
He's been playing some of the best basketball of his career, averaging 17 per game over his last six.
When he arrived in OKC, he was kind of solely thought of as a shooter.
Where do you feel like he's improved the most outside of his shooting since arriving in OKC?
We should also mention one of the best secret dunkers in the league.
Just the guys that you have no idea could dunk, and then randomly he will hammer it home on someone.
It's always shocking.
So this stretch should theoretically be an opportunity for Chet to spread his wings offensively.
But so far that hasn't really happened.
He's only averaged 10 shots per game in the four games since SGA has been out, which is below his season average.
And he hasn't always looked comfortable handling the ball.
What do you think the next step is for Chet offensively to get him more involved?
