So at number five,
is 2017 Kyrie Irving, 1.12 points on 5.1 ISOs per game.
At number four is 2020 Harden, 1.12 points on 14.1 possessions per game.
You may have noticed the jump we just made in possessions.
Number three, 2023 Dame, 1.17 points on 4.9 possessions per game.
Wow.
And number two is this year's SGA, 2026 SGA, 1.19 points on seven ISOs per game.
And the number one ISO score in these last 10 years, 2018 James Harden.
During his MVP season, he scored 1.22 points on 10 ISOs per game.
Yo.
So SGA certainly having one of the best ISO seasons in recent memory, but this is also just a good reminder about how insane peak James Harden was.
The efficiency combined with the volume is something we might not see again for a long time.
And one of the scenes I didn't include because it just missed the cut for efficiency was 2019 Harden.
He had 16.4 ISOs per game.
which was easily the highest of this last decade.
I mean, Luka and SGA, they're like the best ISO scores of this current era.
And in their best seasons, we're talking about seven possessions per game.
Seven ISOs per game.
The other funny thing I found, which is really my what, is remembering how bad of an ISO score Russell Westbrook was.
Among players who had at least five isos per game going back to the 15-16 season, Russ was the only player to score under .9 points per possession, and he did it three different seasons.
