The Clippers are now one game below .500 after starting 6-21.
If they beat the Lakers on Friday night, they will have followed that 6-21 stretch with a 22-7 stretch to get all the way back to .500.
They are currently ninth, only a game and a half back from the Warriors, who have lost two in a row, and they received news this week that Steph Curry will be re-evaluated in 10 days, meaning he's going to miss at least the next five games.
For the Nuggets, it's been a rough stretch by their standards.
They have lost five of their last seven, five of eight since Jokic returned to the lineup.
Jokic put up a 22-17-6 line in this one, but uncharacteristically inefficient, going 9-22 from the field, committing six turnovers.
Denver has the toughest remaining schedule.
Also something to think about.
They do get to play the Jazz three more times this season, but only have six total games against teams outside the play-in range.
Meanwhile, 14 of their final 26 are against teams currently in the top six in either conference, with their next big one coming up next Wednesday against Boston.
And those were the top stories this week.
I know.
I didn't even mention because I had to fit in that little tanking thing.
I didn't even mention the Rockets game.
Getting a win against the Hornets.
Yes, time to share something we like this week, something we didn't like, and something that left us confused in a segment we call Good, Bad, What?
Now, Andrew, what is your good this week?
um for nba teams and just kind of learning like who who are the true contenders that are going to be revealed as we get closer to the playoffs yeah and i think the the tanking is going to add this element where some teams are going to go on some crazy post all-star break runs where they they will lose like four games the rest of the season that wouldn't shock me if a team has a crazy run like that because you look at some of the strength of schedule numbers and
And some of the teams at the bottom are not teams you would think.
Like, usually you would not think that there'd be West teams at the bottom.
