Do You F*cking Mind?
494. The Neuroscience of Breaking a Habit (Pt.2)

People would vape around me.

Do You F*cking Mind?
494. The Neuroscience of Breaking a Habit (Pt.2)

I'm like, I don't crave it.

Do You F*cking Mind?
494. The Neuroscience of Breaking a Habit (Pt.2)

Have I had a cigarette?

Do You F*cking Mind?
494. The Neuroscience of Breaking a Habit (Pt.2)

Yes.

494. The Neuroscience of Breaking a Habit (Pt.2)

Every once in a blue moon, if I'm having a drink or whatever, and I'm out and someone's having like a Vogue menthol, I really shouldn't be fucking encouraging you guys, but I'm just going to be honest with you.

Do You F*cking Mind?
494. The Neuroscience of Breaking a Habit (Pt.2)

Love a Vogue menthol here and there.

Do You F*cking Mind?

Just a menthol where you crack the bead.

Do You F*cking Mind?
494. The Neuroscience of Breaking a Habit (Pt.2)

Anyway, it's not good for you.

Do You F*cking Mind?
494. The Neuroscience of Breaking a Habit (Pt.2)

But what I'm saying is that I said if I want a cigarette or if I want the taste of a vape, the only way I can do it is if I have a cigarette.

Do You F*cking Mind?

So that was a really breaking association.

Do You F*cking Mind?
494. The Neuroscience of Breaking a Habit (Pt.2)

I had a replacement.

Do You F*cking Mind?
494. The Neuroscience of Breaking a Habit (Pt.2)

And I don't like...

Do You F*cking Mind?
494. The Neuroscience of Breaking a Habit (Pt.2)

smoking in general it's just when the stars align that I might have a cigarette but this idea of like your hands feeling like so I just don't like it personally so it's like I've really really like raised that barrier to entry and I've made it harder for myself so if I actually want that nicotine or whatever there's a lot of things that need to kind of align for me to have that so that's an example in my world for how I dealt with breaking this thing one of them took a lot of effort and the other one was a lot easier because it was so turned off by something so if you can ever do anything that's going to turn you off

Like another example, and I don't, I'm not recommending this, but my mum once told me about when she was growing up, I think it was her cousin, his dad, like my mum will clarify on who this person was, but it was someone when she was growing up.

Do You F*cking Mind?

And let's just say it was her cousin.

His dad found out that he was smoking and he would have been like 15 at the time or young.

And so he didn't get angry, but he sat down.

Do You F*cking Mind?
494. The Neuroscience of Breaking a Habit (Pt.2)

He's like, you're going to smoke this whole packet of cigarettes now.

Do You F*cking Mind?
494. The Neuroscience of Breaking a Habit (Pt.2)

So obviously he doesn't make him smoke the whole thing.

But after a couple of cigarettes, he felt sick, vomiting, like sick, sick, sick, sick, sick.
