But New South Wales, for those that aren't Australian, the state that I live in in Australia, New South Wales, has passed a bill to abolish the good character reference for sexual offenders in court.
And I think that should have been done from the get-go because
But I fucking love that it has been done.
And I know that there's many countries that don't have a good character reference allowed for sexual offender cases.
I also think that should be extended to domestic violence cases.
I'm not sure if that is the case or not.
But who gives a flying fuck?

The idea of a good character reference when it comes to sexual offenders and, like, I understand good character reference for maybe a white-collar crime.
Like, maybe you literally had no choice and you were desperate and you had to do something for financial gains and whatever, but there's nothing β
that would ever be a good enough excuse to say oh well I was just cornered and I had to sexually offend that person that is why I believe that a that there is no situation in life where there is an actual excuse where you were cornered and you just had no other way out than to sexually assault someone so the fact that a good character reference used to exist
