On August 30th, there was a Texas Tech freshman named Carl Hart Jr. who said he saw the lights from the upstairs bedroom of his family home.

Hart claimed that there were 18 to 20 lights in this V formation, similar to the description of the professors. And if you count the lights in the photos he provided, there are in fact 18, at least in those first two. Now he says the formation disappeared and reappeared two more times that night.

And so because of that, he ran into the backyard and photographed what he could on his 35 millimeter Kodak camera five times. So two of the photographs came from when it reappeared the first time and then three photos came when it reappeared that third and it seems final time.
