I mean, it's also a brave take because there are some conventional explanations that one could explore. Right. You can't prove or deny them because these lights aren't still around. You can't still study them. These photographs are the only thing we have left, and even those are debated as far as if they're authentic or not.
And Project Blue Book continued to investigate these lights for quite some time, though... Again, it gets very unclear what the ultimate theory was. Right. But with that, I want to crack into some of these theories. Yes. One is strange. One is frustrating. One is, ooh, and then there's aliens.

So one theory posited by Ruppelt, of which he posited many... Again, hold on to your frustrations. They're coming. So one of them posited by Ruppelt was that the lights were caused by a type of bird called a plover. I want to actually, I want to pull up a photo of a plover. Plover? Yeah, pull up a plover.

Oh, that's a little, that's a little ass bird. That's like a Kiwi. That's like a flightless bird that can fly. Bro, that's the tiniest bird. What are you seeing on these birds? Like, it'd have to be the whole light. Right, right. It's got to be like someone's putting a spotlight on these tiny little lights. All right. Okay. Well, that's the bird we're talking about. Okay.

It looks like it's three inches long. It's got a very white belly and it's kind of like got camo on its back, kind of like a speckled beige and brown. Right. So the city of Lubbock had recently installed new vapor streetlights that year. Okay. Vaporwave was big in the 50s. Now, he and others figured that the lights were reflecting off the plover bellies.

So again, with that white belly, these new lights, very strong, pumping up into the air, they're not bouncing off of anything else, and so maybe when these birds come by, suddenly we're like, whoa, whoa, what is that?

I think those photos could also look like an overexposed image, right? Where the lights suddenly blow out and the night sky goes fully dark. And also there's motion blur in there, which means that the aperture is open for long enough to let that light in. And so we're cooking here. Yeah.

I don't know.
