Well, on one side of things, I'm very excited for her.
This is what her value is, if not even more.
But the attraction that she brings, not only to the game on the field, but off the field, and then especially with D.C., right?
She puts butts in the seats, and people show up to see her.
Her marketability is incredible.
in and value is through the roof so you're getting a kind of a two-for-one deal and that sense but i'm thrilled that she's in the end of the sale i'm thrilled that she is raising the bar and keeping the standard high uh... on the market value of of what players actually deserve but now is is the issue of getting everyone else who deserves what their value is paid the same so i think and she mentioned that in her comment which i'm i'm happy about that
You know, how does this relate to a team atmosphere, right, when one player is making a significant amount more than anyone else on the team and in the squad?
Does that create some type of disruption within the locker room?
Or, you know, how is that going to play out, you know, throughout the season?
Everyone's super happy for us.
It has nothing to do with that.
It has everything to do with other players feeling that they're getting what they deserve and how their value is represented as well at the same level.
So and how can you really manage that?
How can you really, you know, give players a certain cap on what their value is by certain lists that they make throughout the year through media or through other broadcast companies who are designing these lists around the league, specifically in the NWSL and not globally?
So how can you rate these players at the level that they actually deserve what they should be receiving?
So who knows how it's going to be culturally moving forward within each and every organization.
I think it's really hard when you have a salary cap of each club about $3.3 million and one player is making $2 million of that.
So it can be really difficult.
Obviously, you want Trinity Ramen on every team there is in the NWSL.
