I mean, look at what happened to Vancouver, of course.
So there was a little disappointment there in terms of, I'm sure the fan base, but I think the front office is probably going to be aggressive and go best player available.
Now that being said, and again, as I always say, I'm certainly not sitting in Jason Botrell's office where he's doing all of his decision-making, but you know, you look at this team, they have four first round draft picks over the next two years.
This is a front office that wants to be aggressive in changing their fortune and returning to the playoff conversation.
If this pick isn't going to get them a big enough impact player in their estimation, are we looking at a different kind of approach in terms of what they do with this draft pick this year?
Does it become about getting an existing player back?
But I think it could be interesting to see if they or any other team start to think a little bit more out of the box.
You know, and I think that, you know, one thing that I am just very impressed by is the talent level that the crack and have internally in terms of evaluating draft talent and, and,
You know, I think it's hard for people who follow the Kraken a little bit more closely.
They know that it's a very forward, heavy prospect group.
And so it's easy to your original question to say, well, does that mean they have to go D?
But I think they're going to be really smart about looking at the talent.
