you know, your peers and most important people in rugby, I suppose.
So yeah, it was lovely.
It was really nice.
Yeah, because, you know, like I was born and bred here and I suppose it's predominantly GA country, like really, like where I live anyway, it's all Gaelic football on my side of the county.
So it was nice to do something that kind of broke the mould.
And I'm proud that I did something that
was hard to do at the time and um represented port leash like when i played for ireland which was difficult at the time as well because it was a small club and wasn't what everyone else did at the time so be proud of that for breaking the mold for other girls out there and we're proud of you allison and thank you very much for being with us allison miller ladies and gentlemen thank you very much
Yeah, I think we needed a big statement home win like that.
And I think it was convincing to go.
It's never happened to me in my whole career that I've conceded after eight seconds.
I can't believe I've conceded after eight seconds.
Yeah, Port Leash first.
Started off at the, we were actually the complete bottom in Port Leash.
And we eventually got up to AIL Division 1 in 2012.
And I had an interesting AIL journey because I was very loyal to Port Leash.
So while I was playing, I had dual status for Galwegians and Highfield.
So I was just missing the Ulster connection.
But yeah, we went all the way from the bottom to the top in Port Leash, which was fantastic.
Great times, really, when we were a small club and we were the only AL Division One club in Leinster outside of Dublin at the time.
Unfortunately, us going up coincided with me joining at the time the full time sevens programme.
