I mean, you just kind of go with what you're trying to, the story you're trying to tell, and then you hope that you execute it well.
And I think that's a big part of it.
You know, you mentioned Letterkenny and everything else Jacob Cherney's touched in the last 10 years, um, included heated rivalry, obviously.
Well, it just swept the Canadian Screen Awards in every category that I was nominated.
So I'm well aware of it.
I pretended to get up every time that they were about to announce the award.
No, I'm so happy for them.
I'm happy for the industry.
But I feel like you got to go with what your best version of your story is for yourself.
There's no recipe, right?
Or everyone would be doing the same thing.
And I think every time the industry tries to get in, gets caught in that trap of trying to recreate a concept.
that they deem would be successful or something uh everything shifts and the industry gets stale so for me you can't you know you you go with what your best instincts are in terms of what you think an audience would like whether it's domestic or international but you just kind of and then you really need to try to execute it well like you know creating production and television or film is really challenging it's very expensive and you need to it is you know it costs what it costs
People don't know that.
They think, how would they know, you know?
