60 vote threshold rather than maintain a true filibuster rule and yet still consider the bill.

So here we are.

So what he's saying, if you're going to have a filibuster, make them stand up there and talk.

Don't just say, I plan to filibuster this.

Make them stand up there.

Make them go through the pain of doing that.

And I think that would be a smart thing to do.

Now,

I will tell you, I've changed my mind on the filibuster, and I know this could hurt us if the Senate changes to Democrat hands in the future.

But I think we ought to get rid of the filibuster.

You know, it's a majority gets you elected.

You ought to be able to get things passed with a majority as well.

I just don't understand that.

So we'll see how it works.

But a minimum, they ought to do the talking filibuster.
