So who is the subject and who is the object?

On a day-to-day level, when do we look at ourselves as objects versus subjects?

Which isn't possibly positive though, right?

So we might take better care of the planet or at-risk species or livestock or our couch if we imbued this greater sense of humanity to it, as if it were a subject and not an object.
