So there's clearly a reason why that guy picked –
there to be there and wanted to stay there when he very easily could be like nah this isn't working see ya have a nice life and he was there right and so for me they have all of the things right really what it was like we had this conversation earlier this year
Why is it that they can't really close the deal?
Well, now they've started closing those deals, right?
And so now it's a matter of kind of capitalizing on the window, and they can do it.
They have the money.
Rodgers, who owns them, has plenty.
Oh, 100%.
100%.
Let me ask you this before we wrap this guy up.
Is there anything in free agency that –
And I'm going to word this in a way where, because obviously we have a pending work stoppage that's coming, whether we like it or not, that's just word to me.
Do you think that the spending frenzy, if you will, on some of these deals is going to be kind of slowed where like, like for instance, I think if the Dodgers signed Kyle Tucker, I think it's a similar to like a Bregman deal where they give them like three years, 150, 175, 200, something like that.
Right.
And that way they kind of have a little bit of a pad to work with whatever comes out on the other side of the stoppage.
Do you think it's going to be something like that kind of across the board?
Or do you think there's just going to be teams that are just like, hey, you get half a billion.
You get half a billion.
You get a couple hundred million.
A hundred percent.
