This morning I was speaking to the SDLP leader,
Claire Hannah, and she said that overnight masked men strutted around parts of Belfast attacking homes based on the colour of occupants' skin, and she described it as a race-based pogrom.
I also spoke to the Alliance Party leader and Justice Minister, Naomi Long, who started by paying tribute
to the emergency services and the bravery and courage that they showed.
She said that last night was a disgrace in terms of what happened, that she recognises that people are hugely moved and disturbed by events on Monday night, the brutal attack was frightening and so on.

And there really is a sense that far-right actors from across this island, from Britain, mainly from England and also in the US and some well-known people
or making mischief that is having devastating consequences.
Obviously, there is individual responsibility for anybody who would be engaged in street disorder and violence, but there are far-right agitators who are whipping up trouble in communities that they know nothing about.
Yeah, it'll be later today around 10 o'clock or from some point from 10 o'clock onwards that we'll have the first sort of hearing in Belfast Magistrates' Court.
There is a man due to appear in connection with attempted murder charges with...
