You just say, what's it going to take?
And they say, look, this is the asking price.
If you can get us this, this, and this many picks, you've got a deal.
And so then there's usually got to give some time parameter because you don't want to be just waiting.
But, yeah, like that's basically you don't tell them who I'm moving.
I could get two for first.
You don't see that.
You just say, if I can get you two first, let's just get it done.
And then maybe you talk a little bit about protections.
Like, does it have to be going to be lottery protected first?
Like those those kind of conversations you've got to have, you know.
But at the end of the day, you know what the deal is because we're up against this deadline that's 24 hours or so away.
Someone could get into a bidding war and come up with a better deal in the meantime as you're trying to find these deals, which I think is another reason why.
You're probably going to see a deal happening in June and not tomorrow because you got more time to kind of build these things out as opposed to like doing your homework at the last minute, which is what the trade deadline pretty much is.
I don't think the cornerstone might be too far, but they think he's an all-star.
They think he's that guy.
And definitely, if I were them, that would be a name I'd be just stuck on in the same way I'd be stuck on Kal-El Ware for Miami.
I think McDaniels because McDaniels is doing it.
Like, Kal-El, dude, we're sitting around thinking, is he ever going to get it?
Does he understand?
