So many wonderful stories and so on have been set in Venice.
But when you read any of those stories, they don't prepare you for the reality that is Venice today, you know, the reality of Bangladesh in Venice.
Venice, essentially, as a city, it's completely dependent.
upon Bengali migrants.
It's they who work in the restaurants.
It's they who work in the hotels.
You'll see them working in the pizzerias.
They're even the people who play the accordion.
