However, there's no games, and I'm sure many noticed the AHL All-Star Game.

While I consider the NHL All-Star Game at the very least unnecessary, I consider such an event and even useful and necessary for the American Hockey League.

It's a great opportunity for young hockey players to be in the spotlight and remind fans and journalists of themselves.

As you so accurately noted, public opinion sometimes influences the decisions franchise management makes.

You can argue about who was the best that night.

You can debate whether a show is even necessary, but one thing is for certain—

The ice was much better than in Italy.
