Louis was reluctant to move Slavkovsky because the Slavkovsky, Kapanen, Demidov line has been so good.

But he just hasn't found anyone who's been able to fill that role.

And Doc clearly wasn't doing it.

And I think the other thing it's fair to say is Slavkovsky hasn't looked like himself since the Olympics.

No.

Everyone kind of expected him to come from the Olympics and take off like a rocket.

And he hasn't played very well until recently, so...

I think that's part of trying to get him going as well.

New hook, a good reintroduction to the lineup on the third line and bumped up to the second line with Kapanen to meet off.

And we'll see how that goes.

For now, that leaves Valeno and Texier as the odd guys out.

And Evans with Doc moving down from the first line to the third and Bolduc.

And then the veteran line has the fourth line with Deneau, Gallagher, and Anderson.

And outside of that, the defense hasn't really changed, right?

The revolving door that sixth defenseman keeps revolving from Jack I to Struble, from Struble to Jack I, and back and forth.

And we'll see.

There has not been an official word yet on the starter for Saturday night's game in L.A.
