Turning now to Iran, Admiral Brad Cooper, the commander of U.S.
Central Command, testified before the Senate Armed Services Committee today.
He says Iran's missile, drone, and naval capabilities have been severely damaged by Operation Epic Fury.
Admiral Cooper also told the committee that recent reports about Iran retaining 70 percent of its missile capability are not accurate.
Now that the Senate has narrowly confirmed Kevin Warsh as chair of the Fed, Warsh is expected to be sworn in soon after outgoing chair Jay Powell's term expires tomorrow.
Powell has said he will remain on the board.
Fed Governor Stephen Myron tells Bloomberg surveillance that could help create a smooth transition for Warsh.
