Admiral Brad Cooper, the commander of U.S.
Central Command, testified before the Senate Armed Services Committee saying that Iran's missile, drone and naval capabilities have been severely damaged by Operation Epic Fury.
Admiral Cooper told the committee that recent reports about Iran retaining 70 percent of its missile capability are not accurate.
U.S.
retail sales rose at a slower pace in April, suggesting high gasoline prices prompted some consumers to temper their spending at other merchants.
The value of retail purchases increased a half percent last month after a revised 1.6 percent gain in March.
