President Trump says China's President Xi Jinping has offered to help with Iran.
Trump told Fox News Channel's Hannity that Xi pledged that China would not give Iran military equipment and that he wants to see the Hormuz Strait open.
In that same interview, President Trump says China has agreed to buy 200 jets from Boeing in a multi-billion dollar deal that would mark the nation's first purchase of U.S.-made commercial jets in nearly a decade.
Neither China nor Boeing have confirmed the deal.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio says U.S.
policy toward Taiwan is unchanged after President Trump's meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
But Rubio warned against China taking Taiwan by force.
Rubio made the remarks in an interview with NBC News while traveling with the president on his trip to China.
Treasury Secretary Scott Besant says the U.S.
and China are talking about a mechanism for fast-tracking some Chinese investment deals, along with a reduction in tariffs on a swath of non-critical goods.

Turning now to the latest in Iran, Admiral Brad Cooper, the commander of U.S.
Central Command, testified before the Senate Armed Services Committee today.
He said Iran's missile, drone, and naval capabilities have been severely damaged by Operation Epic Fury.
