And so when they come off the washing line, it's super quick to just put them away in the cupboard.
We don't have anything that permanently lives on our bench.
And it's not because we don't have any appliances, it's that they have a home.
And so it's easy to put things away.
We have the right amount of dishes for the people in our home and then they go in one drawer.
And so when you're unstacking the dishwasher, save all this time because you can just put them away super easily.
And so you're just saving this time.
You're saving the weekends of having to go through the stuff in the shed and make sure it's all packed up nicely.
And organizing takes time.
So the less stuff you have, the more time you have because you're not going to be organizing all the time.
You're not going to be decluttering all the time.
And you're not going to be maintaining and looking after your stuff because it is a time suck.
And so let that be a motivation is I want some time back.
And let me tell you that one of the benefits is you get time back.
The last motivation that people talked about in this study was ethical considerations.
So they were concerned for the environment and minimizing their impact on the environment.
The best thing you can do for your environmental impact is consume less.
And as you start to consume less, then you consume more intentionally.
