Who are the economic winners and losers of this repeal?

Well, yeah, let's talk about the reaction from automakers.

I mean, Ford and GM seem to welcome this, obviously Tesla less so.

And the legacy U.S.

automakers have been pulling back on EV investments.

Does this accelerate that move?

Well, the Trump administration has framed this as about preserving choice and more affordable vehicles for American consumers.

Is there demand for more gas guzzling trucks at home?

And do you see them responding to that demand?

So I want to go back to the premise that this will save consumers money.

And the Trump administration says more than a trillion dollars.

Do you know how they arrived at that figure?

And is that true in terms of the cost that regulation adds to the price of a car?

Could states still impose tougher regulations?

I know California is fighting the Trump administration over its ability to set stricter emission standards.
