If it were picked based on just data, D-A-T-A, absolute facts, I'm talking streams and radio play and concert sales, it would be Morgan Wallen.

I think the thing, though, that hurts Morgan is that people know that Morgan DJ-F.

He does not give a F, and he probably ain't going to show up.

And so I do think that that keeps people from voting for him, even though he should win the award.

And there are artists that I listen to, obviously.

I listen to Stapleton way more than I would Morgan Wallen.

And I like Morgan.

But personally, I like Stapleton.

I like Megan Maroney.

I think Morgan Wallen should win this thing.

But I don't think he will because of that.

This year, and like other years, I think Lainey Wilson wins it again.

Not that she's not deserving.

But when all of the elements are in play on who's voting from where and what artists don't care, there will be some people that won't vote for Jelly Roll because there's still a little bit of that crowd of, he ain't country.

So all these factors are in play here.

Really cool to see Megan Maroney be on the list.

I'm a Megan Maroney fan big time.

I think she is, in my opinion, the best new artist songwriter ever.

Now, I don't think she should win Entertainer of the Year, but it's pretty exciting to see her on this list.
