At various pretrial hearings, prosecutors have presented their theory about what happened inside that house, and they're calling it the catfish theory.

What are prosecutors saying they believe the motive was?

We haven't seen any witness lists yet, but we think the au pair will be testifying against Banfield at his trial.

He has pleaded not guilty and says that the au pair is lying because she was pressured by investigators.

Our next trial date on the Roundup calendar is in October, and it's a case I've been watching closely.

The defendant is former Stoughton police officer Matthew Farwell, accused of murdering pregnant teacher's aide Sandra Birchmore.
