How's it designed?

So basically you go in here and then into the main chamber.

And it's exactly like the one in Coals Hill with the big elephant iron coming across.

And inside it's been completely stripped out if there was anything in there.

There was no chamber at the far end, was there?

It's just one chamber, which is a bit strange.

My thoughts are whether this was actually used ever.

I'm wondering whether it was built and then it was discovered.

And so they've had to finish, just stop it and go and build one somewhere else.

Or it was built quite near the end of the war and they just didn't bother to...

to to to furnish it so it was built in 42 or 43 if there wasn't an escape route bit do you reckon that was because they couldn't find a place where they could do that as well no it's quite easy to do i'd have thought because you've got a natural downhill this way i think they some didn't build it because they were realistic so if the germans were here oh

They were just like, well, we're stuck.

You're more or less knackered.

You might as well try and fight it out.

At the moment, there's quite a lot of, as Sean said earlier, there's quite a lot of earth on top.

And it's not bouncy.

So at the moment, we're pretty good.

So it's usually veterans telling us exactly where they are or giving us clues like today.
