you generally would need a camera shutter remote for like a group photo.
So that means you either are in the group photo with holding your AirPods Max or you have it on while the rest of the people in your group don't.
Even if you're holding them, that's weird.
You're still holding a pair of Airpods.
This might be a studio pair.
