It is simple.
A clear strategy is at night, before you go to bed, I need to deal with this tomorrow.
Write it down.
Write down a quick strategy.
This is how I'm going to deal with it.
And deal with it early in the day.
So I work with a lot of corporate clients, CEOs, and we talk about the first two hours of your day, deal with all the most challenging and difficult situations you're going to face.
Deal with it in the first two hours versus most people-
Most people go to the easy list.
They tick it off.
They feel like they're just getting stuff done, and then they go, I'll deal with that at 4 o'clock in the afternoon or 5, and then something else pops up, and then they just go to the next day and the next day.
I like it.
Absolutely, Tim.
I mean, we need people in our lives and we need that social connection to change behavior.
You need constant repetition and you need feedback and you need to work with other people.
I mean, some people can do it themselves.
There are people out there that are very, very good and very resilient and just find a way.
But most people need to engage other people.
They need to test the theory.
They need to try it out.
