I just think Utah's core is just significantly better.
And I just kind of trust Memphis drafting a lot more than Chicago.
So number four, Washington.
Kind of a similar thing to Utah in that they need it, but the Trey and AD trades do make a fall on lottery night not nearly as devastating as it would be otherwise.
But I still have them up here because I'm just less confident about the Trey and AD situation.
It is so weird.
So it definitely is a plan, but they need to pick.
Number three, Sacramento.
They need it.
Yes, it's only year one of this rebuild, but you don't know how many times Vivek is going to let you hit the tank button like you have this season.
And you also don't know how many times you'll have these kinds of odds in a draft like this.
This is their clearest chance for a franchise reset in years.
They have to seize this opportunity.
They desperately need it.
Maybe they could be higher.
My number two is Milwaukee.
They need it, and it's even less likely of happening because they would actually need the Pelicans pick and their pick to jump up to make this work, but they still need it.
The Giannis thing has put the entire franchise in such a weird position.
It doesn't feel like they're operating from as much of a position of strength as they should be considering how good Giannis should be as a trade asset.
But if they move up in this draft, everything changes.
