I mean, that just feels impossible.
He set the record for the highest minutes per game in a season, which was 48.5, which that's not going anywhere.
There's no one crazy enough to do that in the modern era.
And averaged 45.8 minutes per game for his career.
and he went his entire career without fouling out, which also is crazy.
He secured the most consecutive 30, 40, and 50-point games, led the league in total assists as a center in the 67-68 season.
He won MVP and Rookie of the Year in the same season.
The stuff that he did, most of it is just untouchable.
It's just really cool when you can mention a record that someone is approaching of Wilt's, or in the case of Shea, you pass it.
What's crazy to me is that Shea is the one to pass it.
He needs to be mentioned and thought of as one of the great scorers ever.
because of his consistency.
And I know a lot of people get hung up on the free throw conversation, but he's one of the greatest scorers in the history of the league.
And it's just really cool.
When Mark talks about Shea and his scoring, he talks about his precision with his craft.
He is one of the most precise scorers there is, as far as getting to his spots, knowing exactly what he wants to do.
And we've seen that over the course of his career, him just get better and better at that.
