So you guys have both read the Quran?
I have read most of it.
Straight from the source.
So I was born in Egypt in the Middle East.
So I was forced to read the Quran.
So I'm 35 years old.
I lived the first half of my life, the first 16 to 17 years of my life of Egypt.
In Egypt, as a Christian, I was required by the law of the land.
I had to read and memorize the Quran at school.
Holy crap.
If you are a Christian right now in Egypt, it is the law of the land.
If you go to any school, Christian school, gay school, liberal school, Jewish school, Zana school, you have to learn the Quran by force and you have to memorize it and you got tested every year.
So I was forced to learn Arabic, to learn the Quran, to memorize the Quran and to memorize the Hadiths.
Shakespeare and the Bible.
Because you can't really know Arabic until you know the Quran.
The Arabic is the holy language of Allah.
That's why if you pray or if you become a Muslim, you have to know Arabic.
You have to learn Arabic.
