Places like Mexico and Central America and Gran Colombia and the rest of South America, they all gained their independence and Cuba was still under the Spanish thumb. Unfortunately, 1920s is also the time of a lot of decline for a lot of the anarchist movements because 1920s follows, you know, the rise of the USSR and a lot of people ended up abandoning anarchism and and following that sort of popularity at the time.
