Warner Brothers was doing a whole lot to make us feel good about the IP, and now it's getting worse.

The Spryfox deal is one of those weird ones because it just doesn't seem like something, like a deal that's possible with a name that large like Netflix.

When I think of how something recently that happened with, oh gosh, I'm blanking on the name of it, but it's that one Minecraft game that Riot bought.

Terraria.

No, but it was like a Minecraft style game that Riot bought.

And then seven years after this game being in development hell, Riot sold it back to the owners.

And I always assumed a company as big as Riot would be as large as a company could be for this type of deal to go down.

But also, I'm just kind of used to...

the kind of current media landscape where David Zaslav of WB just says, fuck everything.

And I don't care.

And so the Spry Fox deal is a really cool and interesting one.

And hopefully there's a bit more, you know,

I mean, I want to say, like, maybe they... Hopefully they play nice with some of these whoever... But we're also assuming that they're going to cut stuff.
