There's new fraud concerns surface in Minnesota medical transportation programs.
So providers and prosecutors have seen issues in the Medicaid-funded non-emergency medical transport program for years.
And now it's the subject of a new video by conservative influencer Nick Shirley.
So...
A transportation service that pays for people's rides to medical appointments is among the Medicaid funded programs facing new scrutiny.
People working in non-emergency medical transportation have been ringing the fraud bill for quite some time.
The program, along with other Medicaid-funded services, they've been seeing providers get billed for $80 million.
That was just in 2018 by itself.
2024 went up to $115 million before dipping.
And yeah, these are the same exact thing.
