Well, that guy, you know, Richard Gere, who is incredible in the film, had, you know, in the storyline, he messes with my head. You know, I had to I had to lose myself in his manipulation. That was part of the story and somehow come out the other end by the end of the film. But, you know, we had to, I had to, he had to get under my skin, you know, and as he did in the movie.

But, you know, Michael Figgis, who was the director I actually recommended for the film, I had met him for a movie he was doing, Stormy Monday, which I didn't participate in, but he was, I remember talking to him, I remember seeing his movie, and I said, maybe this guy, I recommended him to Paramount, and they met him, and they gave him the job.
