He's had two years playing Pro Dede in France, which we all know can be a tough league, but the pace of it is very different to playing the Prem, playing international rugby, playing Champions Cup.
And I've got no doubt Courtney backs himself.
I remember this time last year, he was saying, I'm good enough to go on the Lions Tour as well.
And that obviously didn't come to fruition, did it?
But...
You've just got to judge him from when he gets here next season.
And I think the fact that his versatility and the physicality that he has brought, and I haven't seen any of the Pro D'Ida, but Breve haven't gone that well, if we're being honest, with what they've spent.
Breve, there was an expectation that they'd get promoted last year or even this year.
And they're off the pace a bit in Pro D'Ida as well.
And I know there's a complicated system of the playoffs, of how you can get up to the top 14.
But...
just judge him when he gets to sail because he's always been an athlete and animal and a great player, but it's too, too far away to say, Oh, he's definitely going to make it.
Oh, he's not definitely going to make it.
If you know what I mean.
Yeah, well, he did say before we went live to the interview that he'd broken his arm straight away.
He knew it.
And I said, well, are you going to say that?
He's like, no, I'm just going to say hopefully it's just a dead arm.
So he's tough as our boots, that kid, isn't he?
