They launched an interactive
shopping discovery feature.
It searches the web for you, asks clarifying questions, generates a personalized buyer's guide for any number of products that you want.
And you can guide the research in real time by saying, well, no, not like that product, but yeah, I like this product.
Let's go more in that direction.
The system draws on the memory to personalize this for you on an ongoing basis.
It's powered by a mini model, a GPT-5 mini that's specifically trained on shopping tasks.
Your shopping concierge is now available in OpenAI.

I'm looking forward to trying it myself because I was involved in shopping search.
Way back at the beginning of the Internet in 1997, I joined Excite as the first GM and VP of e-commerce to start shopping on the web.
So shopping search has always been in my blood.
And I'm really curious to see how AI is powering that now.
Guided learning is really incredible, and I hope that they surface it more clearly in the product suite because it's there, but it's hard to find.
I mean, this is a big UX, you know, gaffe in my view.
